Nizhoni Partnership Navajo Missions
The Navajo Nation is the largest reservation in the country with 25,000 square miles and over 250,000 tribe members — half of which are under the age of 18.
About half of the people on the reservation still do not have running water or electricity in their homes. Many of the elderly live in remote areas and are lonely. Many have inadequate resources to even make a hot, healthy meal.
Ron attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and spent 8 years serving the Native people in southwest Missouri. In addition to serving as Mission Team Leader, Ron has served as Pastoral Care minister, has lead numerous Bible studies, and uses his gifts after 37 years in commercial and residential construction to help the Navajo people to improve their living conditions.
Barb spent over 25 years helping families in conflict before entering the mission field full time with Ron.
